Shadow Horse is a well written mystery for the young adult reader and horse fancier. The story has great crossover potential. Younger youth with good reading skills, as well as adults will enjoy this story.
Jas sets out to prove that the death of Wirlwind was not an accident, and find out what really happened to the mare. Things backfire and she ends up in the juvenile justice system, but she is more determined than ever to get to the bottom of the horses death. This mystery has a lot of twist and turns that will leave readers wanting more.
